Woman Confesses To Filming Porn Movies In Parish Church, As Austrian Congregation Seeks Justice

The Diocese of Linz said police in Hörsching are investigating reports of at least two adult films being made in the Upper Austrian church, noting that the movies ‘desecrated’ the building and starred a ‘well-known’ porn actress, with the clips being available for download online. The Austrian congregation is now
furious after discovering that two porn movies were filmed in its parish church. Officers claim they did not have the parish priest’s permission to use the venue and now they’re looking into how the film-makers accessed the building. Spokesmen for the Diocese of Linz said the clips “desecrated” the building but "the sacraments which were celebrated in the past few weeks in the parish church are still considered valid," he added.
According to the Austrian Times, Bernhard Pauer, a priest with the Diocese of Linz, went to police after parishioners said they recognized their church in the video. After the footage was screened on local television, a tipster came forward and said he recognized the woman’s breasts. Horsching police were then able to track down the 24-year-old amateur video star, who confessed. She now faces charges of offending religious feeling and desecration of a church.
The Local reports that those involved in the porn production could be charged under Section 189 of the country’s Criminal Code. It prohibits creating “mischief” that is liable to cause a legitimate nuisance in a church or religious community.
The crew, and stars, could be jailed for up to six months or heavily fined if convicted.
