Austin Icheghe - The Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association, Ughelli chapter in Delta state has been reportedly assassinated yesterday, April 16th in front of his home. His niece, Egunor Uviesa, spoke with News Agency of Nigeria and disclosed that unknown gunmen shot the deceased as he was coming down from his car in front of his home at about 9pm yesterday.

"As soon as he came down from his vehicle, they accosted him and shot him on the head. He was immediately rushed to a private clinic in Ughelli where he was confirmed dead"
