Nick Cannon Slams Rumours That He Is Writing An Album To Beef Mariah Carey

He was rumoured to be penning an album in which he criticises his estranged wife, Mariah Carey, but Nick Cannon has taken to Twitter to claim he would never do such a thing. Hip-hop producer, Mally Mall started the rumours about the subject of Nick's upcoming album, according to TMZ. While at LAX airport earlier this month, the hit maker reportedly said Cannon's new album will be 'controversial' when it comes to his comments on his ex wife.

'He's talking about Mariah on the record, it's gonna be a lot of controversy. In a good way,' Mally  said and smiled in a knowing manner. When asked if bad things will come out, Mally reportedly said, 'It's both.'

On Monday the 34-year-old Nick Canon tweeted: 'I will never say anything negative about @MariahCarey We are forever a family rooted in love,' after telling Vibe magazine, 'there is no album or songs.' [sic]

He added: 'I am always an open book but Personal matters are just that 'Personal.' So please respect my family and respect the process.'
