Nicki Minaj‘s latest single “All Things Go” is her most vulnerable ballad yet. The Pinkprint track details her struggle with fame, losing her cousin to violence and being pregnant by her ex-boyfriend Aaron at age 16. “My child with Aaron would have been 16 any minute,” she raps over the Boi-1da-produced song. Nicki also reveals that she was proposed to, but doesn’t clarify by whom. However, rumors suggest it was by her former longtime boyfriend Safaree. “Ten years ago, that’s when you proposed/I look down, yes I suppose,” she says.
“All Things Go,” is far cry from Nicki’s previous releases “Anaconda” and “Only” but is more along the lines of her songs “Pills N’ Potion” and the recently released “Bed Of Lies.”
“The Pinkprint,” set to release December 15,” is shaping up to be Nicki’s most personal opus. She’s poured her heart into every bar and it shows on tracks like “All Things Go.”
