The 2nd issue of Blanck
Digital Magazine is here. The first issue featured media peronality, Eku Edewor.
This second nd issue is filled with fabulous Nigerian
celebrities – Hollywood star, Gbenga
Akinnagbe, UK-based singer, Lola Rae,
model and actor, Alexx Ekubo, BBC
presenter and entrepreneur, Amal Fashanu,
satirist, Ikenna Azuike, up and
coming singer, Ayo Awosika and
singer, Toni Tones.
Titled the “Freedom
Issue“, the issue tackles the quest for freedom and asks its cover stars
what freedom means to them – and we have to admit their answers are both
inspiring and touching. The magazine investigated this elusive ideal through
the lens of avant-garde editorials, excellent styling, photography and socially
conscious profiles and interviews.
Below is what the cover stars had to say;
Lola Rae – “Having the power to dictate how you live, to
love who you want, to make your own mistakes and learn from them in your own
way.”
Alexx Ekubo – “The power to act, speak or think freely
without internal or external fear or favor.”
Amal Fashanu – “The art of being YOU.”
Gbenga Akinnagbe –
“The ability to walk where your heart leads you, there are no restrictions and
no burdens.”
