I remember recently when Nigerian singer, Lynxxx had her on his Instagram page as his #MCM. Check out actress Taraji
P. Henson making Tyra Banks
proud in Vogue Italia! The beautiful
actress got her model on for the magazine and nailed the shoot with a number of
haute leather looks and equally gorgeous outfits, while making DC proud!
For the Q&A portion, Taraji dished on the most difficult
aspect of being an actress as well as the most rewarding. She also shares her
beauty secrets for those who are looking to preserve their youth as they hit
their 40s and 50s.
Peep the highlights and spread below:
On the most
challenging aspect of being an actress
The most challenging aspect of being an actress is being a
single mother and at the same time to pursue my career. I, first of all, I’m a
mom.
On the most
challenging role she’s played
The most difficult role I’ve played so far has been to
Queenie in The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, and the difficulty is due to
the aging process undergone in the film. I let myself be inspired by my mother
and my grandmother Patsy Bernice.
On the people who
have played an important role in her career
Surely the people in my business team, who always support
me, as my longtime manager Vincent Cirrincione. You must be able to count on
the people who are part of your life, knowing that deal with love of your
interests .
On where she studied
acting
I am proud of my degree at Howard University, where I
studied Theatre Arts .
I was lucky I met wonderful teachers and teachers at Howard;
I would not trade the experience for anything in the world. That period of
training has given me the strong foundation on which to build my career.
On what she does to
keep herself beautiful
For me it is important that my hair is strong and healthy ,
so I take care of them every night. I make the skin breathe, taking a break
from makeup when I can. I wash my face every night before bed, and then the
word is hydration, hydration, hydration.
On her style icons
My style icons are Diana Ross, Cher and Cate Blanchett.
