Nigeria Is No.14 & Colombia Unofficially Tops FIFA World Rankings After World Cup Group Stage [Full List]

After three games of the World Cup, the world is trying to work out who is best-placed to go on and win the tournament. Just 16 teams remain, with every game from here a knock-out. So are the FIFA rankings. Officially, they're confirmed by FIFA at the start of every month. However, at this interim stage in the tournament, the changes make for interesting reading.

Spain, the top team before the tournament started, are already out. They have plummeted to eighth, provisionally, as a result. Replacing them at the top of the standings are Colombia. With three wins from three, they have impressed many in the group stage.
Behind them are Argentina, Germany, Uruguay and Belgium, making up the top five.
However, hosts and popular favourites Brazil are down in ninth, in what looks like a statistical anomaly.
How close do you think the rankings match up to the prospects of the teams in the last 16?

Ratings calculated using FIFA's prognosis tool.
