President Jonathan Set To Speak With Eagles Ahead Of Argentina Clash, As Yobo Gets His 100th Cap

Super Eagles players who are aiming to beat Argentina tomorrow to top the Group F of the ongoing World Cup here in Porto Alegre are to get motivational messages from President Goodluck Jonathan today. Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) board member, Emeka Inyama confirmed on monday that Jonathan was going to personally speak with the players as a way to motivate them against Argentina who struggled to
gain maximum points from Iran last Wednesday.
Meanwhile, a businessman who prefers to remain anonymous has promised to pay N10million for every goal Eagles score against Argentina tomorrow. Enyeama further revealed that  the businessman has even promised to provide the cash here in Brazil before Eagles move to the next  stage of the tournament.
The team is quartered at the Holiday Inn Hotel, about 10minutes drive from the airport and the good news for the team is that defence trojan, Godfrey Itama Oboabona, was back in training yesterday afternoon. “I am ready to resume training today and the medics have given me a clean bill,” Oboabona said smiling as the team alighted from the TAM flight that brought them from Campinas.
Meanwhile Joseph Yobo, saying he prefers a win tomorrow to his much advertised attainment of a 100 caps if featured in the match against Argentina.

“It’s good news that I will reach that milestone but what is uppermost in my mind is for the team to win and for us to advance to the next stage. The rest will be a bonus”, he said late yesterday.
