An online publication reported on Tuesday that the minister's requests for Asylum had been turned down by six different countries. They however did not mention the countries involved. Contrary those reports that she is trying to flee the country to avoid being probed by Gen. Muhammadu Buhari's administration, Petroleum Minister, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke, said Tuesday night, that she was not seeking asylum in any part of the world as widely claimed.
According to Vanguard, speaking through the Group Public Affairs General Manager of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, Mr. Ohi Alegbe, Madueke denied ever contemplating relocating from Nigeria.
