Nollywood On The Black Book? Buhari Poses With Kannywood Stars & Pledges Support

Its widely known that President Jonathan supported Nollywood immensely and the stars supported him throughout his campaign in bid for second tenure. Now looks like the table has turned and it's time for Kannywood to get the presidential favours as the northern actors paid a solidarity visit to president-elect Buhari.

Gen. Buhari made this known during a courtesy visit by the Arewa Film Makers Association in his home at Daura, Katsina on Tuesday. He promised to stop piracy in Kannywood also thanked them for its contribution to his presidential campaign.

“I appreciate all that you have done; the beautiful campaign songs, the video jingles and the drama awareness on our party’s manifestos, They were all beautiful and I thank you.”
