'I Won My Battle With Cancer 15 Years Ago' - Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala

At the Service of Songs for Late Special Adviser to the President on Research and Documentation, Oronto Douglas yesterday April 30th, Minister of Finance Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala disclosed that she was diagnosed with cancer some years back and had her last surgery for it 15 years ago.

"Oronto and I had two similarities in life, we both had cancer. I had my last surgery 15 years ago and I shared my experience with him,” she said, but did not state what type of cancer she had.
