Rihanna's new Viva Glam collection for MAC mixes two very unlikely beauty trends: green hair, and silver frosted mauve lipstick. This is the 26-year-old's second partnership with the cosmetics giant, with all profits going towards 'helping women and children living with and affected by HIV/AIDS.' In addition to the
very Nineties-inspired lipstick ($16), Viva Glam Rihanna II will also come in a red frosted mauve lipgloss ($15).
'Rihanna brings a bold look to her new Viva Glam campaign, accentuating her fearless, confident style,' explained MAC. Bright green hair is certainly in line with the pop star's bold, ever-changing look, and thanks to Katy Perry, Kylie Jenner and Kesha, who have all been spotted with forest-coloured locks, it could be fall's newest hair trend.
The new lipstick is available from September 11th, alongside the more classic red hues of Rihanna's first Viva Glam collection - for those not bold enough for mauve.
The star certainly knows the power of a statement lip, and a nude tint might be the only color she hasn't been seen in. 'Whether onstage or on the red carpet, Rihanna likes a pretty face with vivid lips,' her makeup artist Mylah Morales told InStyle. 'Intense reds, burgundy, even purple are really her thing.'
