The odds of recovery look grim for Bobbi Kristina Brown, one day after the daughter of music legends Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown was found unconscious face down in a bathtub by her husband. The 21-year old was last reported in stable condition in a medically induced coma, but sources close to the family told TMZ that her brain function has 'significantly diminished'. 'It doesn't look good,' another source told E!.
That same source revealed to the TV show that it's 'no coincidence' that Bobbi Kristina was found in such similar circumstances as her mother, who was died in a bathtub from an 'accidental' drug overdose almost exactly three years ago. Since then Bobbi Kristina's troubles have been 'a lot deeper than everyone can see'. 'We don’t think Bobbi Kristina is going to pull through,' a source told Hollywood Life.
Bobbi's father, Bobby Brown is currently by her side, praying for her recovery with family friend Tyler Perry among others.'Privacy is requested in this matter. Please allow for my family to deal with this matter and give my daughter the love and support she needs at this time,' Bobby Brown said in a statement.
A close source said... 'This is his worst nightmare. Losing Whitney was hard, but this is a million times worse, and to lose her in the same way would devastate him.'
The source described Brown as 'inconsolable,' and said the singer's daughter is using a respirator and that her brain has hardly any activity. 'Everyone is holding hands, praying, hoping for the best. Everyone knows where things are at,' the source also said.
Meanwhile, Roswell Police representative Lisa Holland told Us Weekly 'We don't leave any stone unturned. So the police took a search warrant on the home. Before the warrant, initially when the police went into the home there were nothing there that indicated that anything out of the ordinary happened. There were no drugs out in the open.'
It's still uncertain what caused the medical emergency Saturday morning at the home Bobbi Kristina shares with Gordon. However, family members are now starting to reveal Bobbi Kirstina's life these past three years as she battled to make a name for herself as a singer and mourn the passing of her beloved mother.
