The Twitter world went abuzz and erupted in hilarious memes with the news that singer, Jason Derulo took a massive spill down the red carpet stairs during the Met Gala. Well, it turns out, the singer was nowhere near New York. The images above made it online with people saying it was Derulo in the white suit. Upon further inspection, it became pretty clear that the image is a white guy with shaggy black hair. It looks nothing like Derulo. And according to the Huffington Post, it's not even from the Met Gala -- it's from Cannes in 2011.
