In many ways indeed, the 2015 General Elections have been historical in not only Nigeria but even in Britain. In the recently concluded Parliamentary Elections in Britain, Mhairi Black, a 20 year old Lawmaker from Scotland emerged, representing her constituency of Paisley and Renfrewshire South to Westminster.
Today, Mhairi Black becomes the youngest lawmaker in UK history since the 17th century. In winning the seat, Mhairi Black of the Scottish National Party defeated Labour's Douglas Alexander in the seat of Paisley and Renfrewshire South. Alexander, 47, was the opposition Labour's foreign policy spokesman.
Congratulations Miss Black, a true inspiration!
