Harmless Or Derogatory? - Ellen DeGeneres’ Controversial Tweet About U.S vs Ghana Match

In the ongoing FIFA World cup Brazil 2014, The U.S team scored a record breaking first goal in 32 seconds into the game, and eventually won the match 2-1.
Talk show host, Ellen Degeneres allegedly tweeted this comment: “Go USA! Fastest goal in U.S World Cup History in the #USAvsGhana game. 32 seconds! It took me longer to look up where Ghana is.”

The tweet has since been deleted from her page, however, International Business Times UK reported the story when she first tweeted.
