Spanish Striker, Diego Costa Completes Medical Ahead Of £32m Chelsea Move

According to reports, Atletico Madrid Striker, Diego da Silva Costa has completed a medical prior to sealing his transfer. The West London giants have long been linked with a move for the La Liga title-winning forward, and David Hytner of The Guardian claims that the move is extremely close to being made official.
Chelsea have paid the buyout clause in Costa’s contract – he shares the same agent as Mourinho, Jorge Mendes, and the club are pushing ahead with the rest of their business.
It is possible that they will have further dealings with Atlético, as they have an interest in the club’s Brazil left-back, Filipe Luís, and their Portuguese midfielder, Tiago, who played for Chelsea in 2004-05, during Mourinho’s first spell at Stamford Bridge. The move is reported to be costing Jose Mourinho's side the full £32 million value of Costa's release clause.
With the medical apparently out of the way, there should now remain only a matter of dotting i's and crossing t's, something which Chelsea's bankroll means isn't likely to be too much of an issue.
