The Emir Of Kano, Alhaji Ado Bayero Is Dead

One of Nigeria’s most prominent traditional rulers, Ado Abdullahi Bayero, the Emir of Kano has died. According to Sahara reporters, The Emir died early today in Kano according to family sources.
The late emir will be buried today in Kano according to Islamic rites. Alhaji Dr. Ado Abdullahi Bayero is the current Emir of Kano in Nigeria, a position he has held since 1963. He was a former ambassador to Senegal. He was the son of Abdullahi Bayero dan Muhammad Abbas…May his soul rest in peace.
