Man Discharged Free For Gruesome & Viral Domestic Violence Against Model

Earlier this year, 19-year-old aspiring model, Gabriella Montgomery shared the above graphic photos following a horrific domestic violence incident with her ex-boyfriend. Gabriella took to Instagram last week to share the devastating news that her abuser, the boy who kicked her out of a moving vehicle, dragged her and left her for dead in a pool of her own blood wasn't charged for anything. In fact, when he left the courtroom, he left smiling.

It's domestic violence awareness month everyone. So that means if you know someone or are currently going through an abusive situation yourself, please be of help and concern of how severe the situation is. No one deserves to be degraded by someone they love. This was me eight months ago and I am more than blessed and grateful to be alive. I have and will continue to be strong not only for myself, but for the people I love. Such a terrible occurrence can leave people feeling alone, weak, useless, and the worst one; that they're to blame. This is why I encourage you to spread the word about domestic violence because it happens more times a day that we could ever imagine. Be that warrior for someone without the power to go on. I am here for you, I'm only a DM away. I am Mori Montgomery, and I support domestic violence awareness month and the end of DV. #domesticviolence #domesticviolenceawareness #domesticviolenceawarenessmonth #lovenotwar #bestrong #pray #warriors #breakthesilence

And while she received the only outcome that she was hoping against, Gabriella is still a champion. She’s a voice for the women who are too afraid to speak out. She’s a woman with enough courage to face the cynical criticism for the public. She’s a fighter. She’s using her voice as a platform for young women dealing with domestic violence and her refusal to be a victim is what touches my heart the most. However, this justice system is starting to become a real problem.
When Eric Garner’s killer goes free and the man who filmed the entire chokehold death gets indicted, you’ve got to be blind to miss that something’s wrong with that. Gabriella’s abuser walked out of the courtroom without a single charge and Gabriella not only had gruesome physical scars, but she’s not got the emotional scars that will last a lifetime because the man who attacked her is a free man. I mean, not even community service! What’s wrong with our justice system?
