2014 Glo CAF African Footballer of the Year Award, thus winning it for the fourth straight time, since 2011. The Ivorian midfielder has over 85 caps for Ivory Coast with 16 goals and defeated his nearest rival, Nigeria captain and goalkeeper,
Vincent Enyeama and Gabon international,
