Marouane Fellaini Shaves Off Afro Hairdo Following Belgium's Exit From World Cup

One of the most famous haircuts in world football is no more. The Manchester United midfielder, Marouane Fellaini has followed through on a promise to shave off his afro, despite Belgium's exit from the World Cup.  "If we win the World Cup I'll shave my head. Am I sure about this? Yes, absolutely. We have a deal."

This was Fellaini's promise during the Belgium's run to the World Cup quarter-finals. The Red Devils were ultimately beaten by eventual finalists Argentina, but he went ahead with the haircut anyway. Manchester United fans will hope that his new slimline look will herald a new start for the midfielder at Old Trafford. Sort of like Samson in reverse.
