#BringBackOurFollowers: Ma$e Lost 1.5 Million Followers In Instagram Cleanse

Few days ago, Instagram announced in a blog post that they will be confiscating hundreds, thousands, hundreds of thousands, and in some cases millions, of Instagram followers from its users that are spam accounts. This is because some celebrities allegedly buys this fake accounts to increase their social media followers. "We’ve been deactivating spammy accounts from Instagram on an ongoing basis to improve your experience.
As part of this effort, we will be deleting these accounts forever, so they will no longer be included in follower counts. This means that some of you will see a change in your follower count". The statement said

Yesterday, that statement came into full effect and the first American celebrity receiving the axe was Mase. His account went from 1.6million to 272,000 followers. Upset by the humbling news, He deleted his Instagram account. We’re not saying he purchased followers but, well, how exactly does one go about accumulating the following of over 1.5 million spam accounts? We are waiting for our Nigerian celebs...Lol!
