The World Health Organisation is investigating reports that ISIS militants have been showing up at an Iraqi hospital with Ebola. According to three media outlets an undisclosed number of militants displaying signs of the disease attended a hospital in the ISIS-held city of Mosul,  250 miles north of Baghdad. While the reports, from Kurdish and pro-Iraqi sources, remain unconfirmed, WHO spokesman Christy Feig said the group are trying to reach out to officials in ISIS-held areas to offer help.

Kentucky Plane Crash: 4 Dead, As 7-Year Old Girl Survives & Reports Fatal Plane Crash

(CNN) - A small plane went down in western Kentucky Friday evening, killing four people, according to Sgt. Dean Patterson with the Kentucky State Police. A 7-year-old girl was the only survivor. She was taken to a local hospital with "non-life threatening injuries," Patterson said. A resident in the area called 911 after the girl walked up to his house, telling him she had been in a plane crash.

Nigerian Army Reportedly Dismisses 203 Soldiers After A Secret Night Trial

According to a report on Premium Times, The Nigerian Army has dismissed 203 soldiers after a secret court martial held in the dead of the night, for allegedly disobeying a direct order from their commanding officer. One of the sacked soldiers, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the soldiers were dismissed for asking for support equipment, following the army’s plan to convey them in a tipper for an operation in Bama and Gwoza, two strongholds of Boko Haram insurgents.

Boko Haram: Bomb Explosion Rocks Church In Gombe

The Nigerian Police on Thursday confirmed a bomb explosion at the entrance of Tudun Wada ECWA Church, Gombe. The Spokesman of the state Police Command, DSP Fwaje Atajiri, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Gombe that a suicide bomber rode on a motorcycle and tried to enter the church a few minutes after 8 a.m.“He came with a motorcycle and tried to enter the place but as a result of the security measures put in place, he was blocked and the bomb exploded instantly and he was killed,” Atajiri said.

New Year's Celebrations Stampede In Shanghai: 35 Dead!!!!!

New Year's revellers jammed along Shanghai's historic riverfront stampeded about a half hour before midnight Wednesday, killing at least 35 people and injuring 43 others, Chinese media reported. City officials said they had not yet determined what triggered the stampede about 11:35 p.m. in Chenyi Square on the Bund, the state-run Xinhua News Agency reported early Thursday. Many of the dead and injured were students.

Passengers on board doomed AirAsia flight 8501 would have have been aware that the plane was going crash, it has emerged, after search pilots revealed victims had time to put on life jackets. Representatives from Basarnas, Indonesia's search and rescue agency, said a seventh body recovered from the Java Sea this morning was wearing a life jacket, while a pilot assisting the operation claimed three of the victims were found floating in the water still holding hands.
