Ceasefire Agreement: Boko Haram To Release Chibok Girls On Monday

There are strong indications that the 218 schoolgirls abducted six months ago in Chibok, Borno State, by the violent Boko Haram sect may be released on Monday following a ceasefire agreement between the sect and the Federal Government. The Federal Government, through the Nigerian military, had on Friday said that it had agreed to a ceasefire with the violent sect and that the Chibok girls would soon be released. The deal was announced by the Chief of Defence Staff, Air Marshal Alex Badeh. “A ceasefire agreement has been concluded between the Federal Government and the Jama’atu Ahlis Sunna Lidda’awati wal Jihad (Boko Haram).”

They then fell for the conman's story that he was due to receive a £100 million inheritance from his father but that it was tied up by red tape in India.

Police Arrests A Man For Infecting 12-Year Old Girl With HIV

The Police in Bauchi State, on Tuesday, arrested a man, 35, for infecting a 12-year-old girl with Human Immune Virus, HIV. This was disclosed by the state Police Public Relations Officer, Haruna Mohammed, in Bauchi, yesterday, saying the man had been HIV positive and on medication since 2004. According to him, the suspect had been sleeping with the girl, who is a groundnut hawker, since 2012. He added that the girl was diagnosed with the disease when she started having strange symptoms.

Air France Jet Isolated At Madrid Airport Amid Ebola Fears From Shaking Nigerian Passenger

A Madrid airport has activated emergency measures after a passenger arriving on an Air France flight was suspected of having Ebola. The passenger on Air France 1300 from Lagos, Nigeria, had started shaking during the flight which landed at Barajas International Airport in the Spanish capital. Air France said the other passengers disembarked from the plane, which was flying via Paris. The plane will now be disinfected and the return flight has been cancelled.
