55-Year Old Man Sentenced To 200 Years For Impregnating His 11-Year-Old Daughter

A 55-year-old man who impregnated an 11-year-old girl under his care was sentenced to 200 years (100 years each on two counts of incest) in prison on Wednesday. Mikeal Shane Pruett will be eligible for parole when he is 105. After considering evidence presented in the case, Ravalli County District Judge, Jeffrey Langton said Pruett wasn't someone he would be willing to invest the time or effort to extend probation.

The Federal Government on Friday, flagged off the sale of kerosene at the pump price of N50 per litre under the Kero-Direct–Scheme, a programme designed by Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) to make the commodity available for every household in the country.
