The Standard Hotel
where the elevator fight between Jay Z
and Solange Knowles took place on
Monday 5th May 2014, has announced that the employee who leaked the video to
the media has been fired.
It is still unclear if it’s a man or woman who leaked the
video, but the hotel says...
“The Standard
has identified the individual responsible for breaching the security policies
of the hotel and recording the confidential CCTV video released by TMZ. The Standard has already
terminated the individual and will now be pursuing all available civil and
criminal remedies.”
The spokesperson revealed that it will turn over its
information to authorities.
TMZ reportedly
gave the individual a whopping sum of $250,000 for the video.
