Hip hop legendary rapper,
Snoop Dogg is in the centre of controversy oncemore with his negative reaction to the unveiling of
Caitlyn Jenner's
Vanity Fair cover earlier this week. The rapper posted a Meme of
Akon which highlighted his charitable work in Africa but also labelled Jenner a science project in his latest Instagram post. His dismissive comment about Jenner sparked outrage on social media with some calling them 'sad and disappointing.'
- 'How long were you in the news for a stupid f***ing name change?' one person commented in reference to the artist briefly changing his stage name to Snoop Lion.
- 'But when someone else changes up their identity suddenly its not worth it. Not buying another song of yours EVER.'
- 'This is 2015. Do you not believe in the pursuit of happiness? Your comments are just sad and disappointing.' wrote another.
- 'Real bummed that @SnoopDogg is shading @Caitlyn_Jenner on IG. Thought him of all people would be open minded and accepting.' another person tweeted.
