Silverbird Galleria Lagos was buzzing with activities over the weekend, as the latest TV Series – “Newman Street” premiers. It was indeed an exciting and glamorous event with A-list celebrities, heads of industries and dignitaries in attendance. Newman Street is and educative and entertaining program featuring Nollywood actors and actresses – Bimbo Akintola, Fred Amata, Sani Danja, Bimbo Manuel, Sani Muázu and more.
It is aimed at addressing key health concerns challenging Nigerians like malaria and family planning. Newman Street is brought to you by Nollywood Concept Promotions (NCP) and Center for Communication Programs Nigeria (CCPN) with the support of United State Agency for International Development (USAID/PMI), United Nation’s Population Fund (UNFPA), The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health Center for Communication Programs (JHUCCP) and the UK Department for International Development (UKaid).

The new TV Series will be hits the screens on Sunday 19th October 2014 at 8:30PM on Chanel 105 of NTA Star Times with a repeat broadcast every Fridays at 8PM.
