Nigeria's Ex International Goalkeeper Down With Cancer

48-years old Nigeria's ex international goalkeeper, Wilfred Agbonavbare has been reportedly diagnosed with cancer and fighting for his life. The former Rayo Vallecano goalkeeper needs financial aid in order to carry on his struggle. Wilfred is being treated in a hospital in Tampa Florida, USA and a close friend of his, Augustine Igbinobaro, also an ex-goalkeeper, has asked all those that can, to help out. He was a member of Nigeria’s U-21 Mexico 1983 Flying Eagles, 1984 AFCON silver medalist and 1994 AFCON gold medalist. His wife died of breast cancer 3 years ago.
