Cruel World: Corpse Of Rape Victim Discovered In Imo Community

A lady's naked corpse was discovered 24hrs after Valentine's day on Sunday Feb. 15th at Okwu village in Umunneato autonomous community in Aboh Mbaise Local Government Area of Imo State. According to reports, the corpse had bruises all over, especially around the breasts and private parts, leading people to believe she was brutally raped and murdered. However, the identity of the victim or her age is still unknown.
An eyewitness, who spoke on grounds of anonymity, told Vanguard “I am not too sure that it was a case of ritual killing because no part of the girl, on the face value, was missing. It is, to me, a case of brutal gang-raping to death of the unfortunate girl.”

The people who discovered her body and called the police said nobody knew how the lifeless body was dumped along the road at Okwu or did it. The body of the girl had been moved to the morgue of Aboh Mbaise General Hospital.
