We
reported it here of a deadly armed robbery incident that occurred in Ondo State last week, which claimed the lives of at least two people. The Nigerian Police have now recovered N9 million as well as ammunition from 6 of the robbers who were killed during the incident.
Vanguard reports that in addition to the N9 million recovered,..
“23 assorted fire arms, including 9000rounds of ammunition, 11 dynamites, 100 magazines, ten smoke hand grenade, three steel helments, police berets and uniforms, as well as nine exotic vehicles, were recovered from the robbers.”
Police Commissioner,
Isaac Eke, has confirmed the news.
