There was no wild party for John Terry after he lifted his third League Cup in Chelsea colours on Sunday. The Blues captain instead opted to spend the evening with his family, posting a picture to Instagram of his two children asleep in bed with the Capital One Cup. The 34-year-old captain was allowed to take the cup home, and he capped off his day by sharing a picture of his two children Georgie John and Summer Rose asleep with the trophy.
Also in the picture, Terry's son Georgie can be seen with his dad's medal around his neck, as well as a Chelsea shirt.
Alongside the picture was a simple caption reading 'goodnight', but Terry and his Chelsea team-mates will have been wide awake on Monday morning as they look to prepare themselves for battle once more.
Terry had the perfect day at Wembley, scoring Chelsea's opening goal, picking up the man of the match award, and lifting the trophy - the 13th major honour of his professional career.
