BREAKING: Nigeria Football Federation’s Headquarters Engulfed By Fire

The headquarters of the Nigeria Football Federation building popularly known as the Glass House, located at the Wuse Zone 7 District of Abuja has been gutted by fire. The fire reportedly started from the 3rd floor which hosts the office of the Chairman of the Federation, Aminu Maigari. The cause of
the fire is unknown at this time but the Federation’s spokesperson, Ademola Olajire, confirmed the incident. Mr. Olajire, who said he was just arriving the scene. Reporters at the scene said the offices of the President, Secretary General and the accounts department have been affected and Fire service officials have arrived the scene and are battling to put out the fire.

The NFF is currently enmeshed in a leadership tussle with Aminu Maigari and Mike Umeh laying claim to the chairmanship of the football body.
