A host of high-profile sport stars have been recognised in the 60th anniversary edition of the Guinness World Records. As always an impressive array of talent and bizarre moments can be found across the book, which is released on September 11. One of those recognised is Irish legend Brian O'Driscoll, having
cemented his place in rugby union folklore with the record for most international appearances.
After bagging 15 goals in last season's Champions League, Cristiano Ronaldo is included in the latest book with Rory McIlroy, following his record low score at the US Open. They are joined leading jockey Tony McCoy who holds the record for the most horse racings wins in jump racing in a career with a staggering 4106, while his 289 successes between 2001 and 2002 is the most in a single season.
Paralympic star, Ellie Simonds also features after her stunning 400m freestyle success at London 2012, while Stoke City goalkeeper, Asmir Begovic is recognised for the 'longest goal scored' after his 91.9metre effort against Southampton last season.
Roger Federer makes the book with three separate records - Most Grand Slam single titles, Most Grand Slam matches won and Most week's ranked world No.1.
