Earlier this week, the internet went abuzz when an American televangelist, pastor, and the founder of the non-denominational World Changers Church International based in Georgia. Creflo Augustus Dollar, Jr. launched a $65 Million campaign to fund the purchase of a new private jet for his ministry. In the donation appeal video for “Project G650” which has now been deleted from his official website, explained that the reverend travels around the world to spread the gospel and his current private jet recently faced
mechanical problems while on trips to Australia and the UK, therefore the plane is now out of service.
Supporters are encouraged to pledge $300 each to assist the pastor and his team to reach the $65 Million goal.mechanical problems while on trips to Australia and the UK, therefore the plane is now out of service.
Below is how the website stated it:
‘Believe it or not, there are still millions of people on this planet who have never heard of Jesus Christ and know nothing of His greatness.’
‘Our hearts desire to see precious lives changed and snatched out of darkness and thrust into His marvelous light!
‘We need your help to continue reaching a lost and dying world for the Lord Jesus Christ, supporters of the ministry to sow a $300 seed into the airplane fund, billed Project G650.’
Since the launch of the donation campaign, the reverend has faced immense backlash on social media. It appears this criticism has made a dent with the campaign materials being deleted. You can watch the video below and decide for yourself.
