The 45-year-old filmmaker has long been a friend to Bobbi Kristina, 22, and her family — including her late mother, Whitney Houston. The Madea star was seen visiting Bobby Kristina in hospice, hours after he shared a very emotional post that confirmed Whitney’s daughter was still alive. Before Tyler visited Bobbi Kristina at the Peachtree Hospice Center on July 17, he shared his thoughts about her in a post to his official Facebook page. Tyler said he woke up “with Whitney on my mind.” From there, Tyler laid into the media coverage over Whitney’s daughter, who he confirmed was still with us.
“For some reason, it has become human nature in our society to look for, seek out, and celebrate darkness, glory in tragedy, and enjoy reading and reporting it,” Tyler wrote. He also expressed sadness over the reports over Bobbi Kristina, blasting those who “find it OK to speak death onto those who are still alive.” Fans have been curious over Bobbi’s condition ever since her family moved her to hospice care in late-June. Since her admission to the Peachtree Hospice center in Georgia, many of Bobbi’s friends and relatives have visited her, including Tyler. This led many to speculate they were saying their last good-byes as the young girl rests during her final days. While Tyler called out the media for its reporting, he did acknowledge fans have a sincere interest in Bobbi Kristina’s condition. Tyler assured fans that “[her] family will issue an official statement if something changes. He ended his post asking if everyone could “just pray for Krissi, and the Houston and Brown families?”
