Glee Star, Becca Tobin's Boyfriend, Matt Bendik Found Dead In A Hotel Room

The boyfriend of Glee actress, Becca Tobin has been found dead in a hotel in Philadelphia. Nightclub owner, Mr Bendik, 35, who was reportedly on a business trip at the time, is understood to have been found by a maid in his hotel room on Thursday.

Sunday will mark the one year anniversary of the death of Ms Tobin's co-star, Cory Monteith, who died of a drug overdose at the age of 31 in July last year. The cause of Mr Bendik's death is currently unknown.
Sources have told TMZ that Mr Bendik and Ms Tobin were on a business trip together at the time and had been out with friends the night before.

A maid working at the hotel is said to have discovered the body on Thursday afternoon. The Philadelphia Medical Examiner confirmed the body was found, but there has been no further details, according to the TMZ report.

Mr Bendik was known for his work at LA nightspots DBA and AV, while Ms Tobin is known for playing Kitty Wilde on the hit show Glee. At the time of his death Mr Bendik ran and owned numerous clubs including AV nightclub and the Avertine restaurant inside it as well as well as running one of West Hollywood's hottest night spots DBA.

The club paid tribute to him on Thursday night following his passing with a sign expressing the staff's love for him. The AV Nightclub is said to be one of the toughest venues to gain entry to with patrons including Chris Brown, Snoop Dogg, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Ne-Yo. The club has hosted DJs from Afrojack to Avicii to Kristina Kova. He was also 'Director of Nightlife' at the Modern Honolulu Hotel’s ADDICTION Nightclub.
