President Goodluck Jonathan, today, Thursday July 10th, announced the nomination of the Corps Marshall, Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), Ositadinma Benjamin Chidoka (Anambra), as minister-designate and the Acting Director General of the National Pension Commission, Chinelo Anohu-Amazu as substantive DG of the commission.
According to reports, Chidoka is most likely to replace former Minister of Aviation, Stella Oduah who resigned her position in February. Abubakar Olanrewaju from Kwara state was also nominated and would replace former Sports minister, Bolaji Abdullahi, in the Federal Executive Council if confirmed by the senate.
Jonathan in a letter addressed to Senate President David Mark and read on the floor of the Senate this morning, urged the senators to treat the appointments with dispatch.
