In March this year, Oscar’s estate agent told AFP the house would be sold in a closed bid starting at R5m. The house is reported to be 700 m², which means Louwtjie paid about R6 428/m². Other houses for sale at the same estate are being advertised for between R7 000 and R8 800/m².
The State has filed its final arguments in the case of murder accused Pistorius, the NPA said on Wednesday. "We have filed the closing arguments in the high court today and are ready to argue," said spokesperson Nathi Mcube.
Final argument in Pistorius's murder trial will be heard on 7 August.
Pistorius shot dead Steenkamp on 14 February last year. He claims that it was an accident and he mistook her for an intruder while the State claims that it was pre-meditated murder.
