Yesterday, Thursday 31st July 2014, a fundraising dinner was held for the launch of Nigeria’s Terror Victim Support Fund in the Abuja State House Banquet Hall. The event which kicked off at 6 p.m, was for the private sector, international foundations and funding agencies as well as all Nigerians to contribute to the fund
which was established to support victims of terrorism in Nigeria. The fund will help provide support services, to provide immediate relief for those that fall victim to terror attacks in the country.
It is also an initiative aimed at fast tracking the reconstruction of the North East as well as other parts of the federation affected by terrorism.
Present at the private affair were President Goodluck Jonathan, First Lady Patience Jonathan, Gen. Danjuma, Sen. Ekweremadu, the Sultan of Sokoto, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor and Prince Arthur Eze.
