TOWIE Star, James Lock has stripped off to raise awareness of male for Cancer Research UK. Lockie, as he is known to fans, endured hours of primping and preening to ensure everything was in tip top condition for his racy shoot which features in the current issue of Cosmopolitan Magazine. And the reality TV star admitted that the topic is one close to his heart because his beloved grandfather died of the disease. 'Cancer Research is close to my heart because my grandad died of cancer', James said.
'Sadly it affects everyone in some way. 'I’ve not had any scares before but I did have a mole removed once – you have to be careful and look out for changes to your body and skin.'
James also revealed that having plenty of experience stripping off on the show meant that he wasn't all that nervous about getting his kit off for the shoot. 'I was filmed on all fours having a back, crack and sack wax for TOWIE, 'It gave me a new appreciation for what some girls go through on a regular basis.' He said.
And although there's no shortage of cast-members going under the knife on the series, Lockie said he won't be getting any surgery to alter his appearance, admitting: 'A lot of the people in TOWIE have had surgery but I wouldn’t get any work done – life is too short.'
