They had a messy break up a year ago. But The Hunger Games star, Liam Hemsworth did not trash his ex-fiancée Miley Cyrus in the new issue of Nylon Guys. 'There's no bad blood there,' the 24-year-old Australian said as he posed for moody portraits inside the men's monthly. The star went on to explain that actors are misunderstood, especially when it comes to all of the attention they receive during tough times. 'I think when people see photos of you out and about in your personal life, they assume that you've asked for it or that you want that attention, but I don't think anyone in their right mind asks for that kind of thing.'
Rather than focus solely on the rocky past, he turns to his recent professional triumphs, and that definitely includes his role as Gale Hawthorne in The Hunger Games trilogy.
When it comes to the mega successful global franchise, he says the best part about it has been the relationships he has forged. 'I'm so lucky to have Jennifer [Lawrence] and Josh [Hutcherson] and Woody [Harrelson],' he says. 'We've created really strong bonds.'
Liam also got serious during the interview and explains what sets him apart from everyone else. 'If you put the work in, and you show that you're willing to work hard, you'll succeed. I feel that I often put in more work, and that is what separates me from the other people,'
Hemsworth says growing up in Australia he and his brothers played with plenty of rifles, bows and arrows. 'For some reason, my grandpa thought they would be good to give to us...and I think everyone agrees that I was the naughtiest as a kid,' he says.
Now he's starring with A-listers, and it's those veteran actors who have guided him wisely and made him feel comfortable as he navigates stardom. In fact, It was Liam's Paranoia co-star Harrison Ford who may have had the best advice.
'When we were on set [of Paranoia], I asked Harrison Ford if he ever doubted what he was doing or why he was doing it. 'He kind of stopped for a second and was like, ''No. Not for a second. This is the best job in the world.'' ................Read more here
