Miss Colombia Crowned Miss Universe 2014 & Miss Nigeria Crowned Miss Congeniality Universe

Miss Colombia, Paulina Vega was crowned Miss Universe on Sunday after a rigorous competition with 88 girls from around the world at the FIU Arena in Miami, Florida, but it was her fourth runner up Miss Jamaica who's making headlines and who immediately began trending on social media following an unprecedented booing that erupted from the Miami audience when the Caribbean beauty had to leave the stage.

Her poise, arresting good looks and confident intelligence seem to have had many viewers convinced Jamaica's lovely Kaci Fennell would take the coveted crown.
So when she got fifth place, viewers of the 63rd annual pageant were quick to accuse judges of denying Fennell the title because of she proudly called Usain Bolt and Bob Marley her country's greatest contributions to the world.
Also flying around were accusations that the 22-year-old's non-traditional pixie haircut helped lose her the crown, as well.

In addition to the unmistakable boos that issued from the audience in support of the striking beauty, Fennell's support has shown up on social media as the hashtag #MissJamaica immediately began to trend following the pageant.
Vega is from Barranquilla, Colombia and is studying business administration. She said the contests leading to Miss Universe were the first she'd participated in and will be her last as she's eager to return to her studies in business administration.
The top 15 contestants were Miss Philippines, Miss Netherlands, Miss Colombia, Miss Ukraine, Miss Venezuela, Miss Australia, Miss Argentina, Miss Jamaica, Miss USA, Miss France, Miss Indonesia, Miss India, Miss Italy, Miss Brazil and Miss Spain.
Miss Indonesia Elvira Devinamira was the world’s pick for Best National Costume at the 2014 Miss Universe pageant. The gorgeous lady was awarded the honor for her breathtaking costume inspired by a Buddhist temple in her home country!
The top five costumes were Miss Germany, Miss India, Miss Indonesia, Miss Canada and Miss Argentina. Best National Costume was voted for on Twitter.
Other winners of the night include:
Miss Congeniality Universe – Miss Nigeria
