Covenant University students and the daughters of Dr. Samson Opaluwa, a Director at the Federal Ministry of Works, who were
kidnapped nine days ago, have regained freedom, according to Sahara Reporters. The girls, Ejura
Opaluwa, and Unekwu Opaluwa,
aged 23, and 19, respectively, were
abducted in their house located at 55 Associated Estate, Impresit Karmo in the Federal Capital Territory two Sundays ago, when the gunmen, believed to be robbers, laid siege on their house, have now been set free. They were released yesterday morning, however; it is unclear whether or not the ransom was paid.
