David Beckham's eldest son Brooklyn has reportedly been signed to a short-term deal by Arsenal FC. The 15-year-old went on trial with the Gunners and after impressing the coaches at the Emirates has signed a deal until the end of the season, according to the Daily Star. Brooklyn has been attracting attention from a host of sides, with his father's former club Manchester United thought to be among them. Chelsea have also shown interest whilst he went on trial with Championship side Fulham late last year.
A source has been quoted saying: "Brooklyn is talented and he has stood out in all of the training sessions and games he has played. He has had other teams sniffing around and it was always going to be a case of when, not if, he was signed up by a big-name club. Next summer we may see him sign a big-money deal and with Arsenal."
If things don't work out for Brooklyn, father David still has two more chances to see one of his sons follow in his footsteps. Younger brothers Romeo and Cruz, aged 12 and nine respectively, have also been training with Arsenal's appropriate youth teams.
