Super Eagle's Michael Babatunde Cheers Up Team Mates From Hospital Bed Ahead Of France Clash

Super Eagles head coach, Stephen Keshi confirmed that last week that Michael Babatunde, who sustained an injury on his hand after blocking a shot by Ogenyi Onazi which was goal bound, will no longer be able to participate in the world tournament. Due to the injury, he had to undergo surgery. 

About the match against France this evening, the Nigerian midfielder shared with Kick Off Nigeria that “I will be praying for the team and I am sure they will do the nation proud in this World Cup.”
Today, he took to his official Instagram page to post images of the Nigerian national team, cheering them for today’s match, and also shared a photo of himself looking sombre with a bandaged arm.
