Emenike Storms Out Of The Pitch & Forces Own Substitution For Racism Abuse

Nigeria's Super Eagles forward, Emmanuel Emenike stormed off the field after the Fenerbache striker was the victim of alleged abuse from his own fans in Turkey. He appeared to angrily remove his shirt and marched towards the sidelines during Sunday night’s match against rivals Besiktas. But his coaches on the touchline ordered him to put his top back on and continue playing, which he did.

Emenike has endured a difficult time in front of goal this season, netting just 4 times in 22 appearances, and after squandering a first-half chance, he was jeered before boss Ismail Kartal opted to withdraw him.
