Thailand based Nigerian computer guru,
Shola Rotimi Oluwole, 29, from Idominasi, Osun State, and his Thai girlfriend have been arrested for hacking the email account of a silverware firm and redirecting payments for goods ordered by customers overseas into their own bank account. They tampered with the account, changing the bank account number for payments for orders to their own account number, so that customers would transfer money into their bank account instead.
The police are hunting for 2 other unnamed Nigerians, members of the same gang. He only succeeded in transferring N570,000 before being caught....he is likely going to be sentenced to death and not life imprisonment. So sad!
