Enough Is Enough: Wizkid, iLLBLiss, Olamide, Iyanya & More Join Voices To #PrayForNigeria

A movement on social media began yesterday as Nigerian celebrities and Africans joined their voices to raise awareness about the killing of Nigerians by deadly Islamic sect Boko Haram in Baga, Borno State. Below is their words, messages and photos, kindly join the conversation with the hashtag #PrayForNigeria and let your voice be heard.

iLLBLiss:
May God punish the people masterminding all this mayhem and disaster .. May their families be burnt beyond recognition. MAY they wallow in pain and may the wrath of our LORD deal with them decisively….

Reekado Banks:
Pls say a prayer for my motherland

Korede Bello:
#GodBlessNigeria #GodBlessAfrica

Olamide:
I pray for peace and blessings, ya Allah have mercy on the innocent souls

Toke Makinwa:
Just when we are still reeling from the news of 2,000 people massacred in Baga, 2 female suicide bombers blow themselves up at the GSM market killing 4 people and injuring many others in Yobe state. I don’t recognise Nigeria anymore, this is not my country, these are not my people, when and how did we get here??? In Rivers state there is violence, APC building burnt down , on the other hand somewhere else a PDP bus is burnt too. The election process is not a do or die is it???? So why the violence? Of what difference does it make to terrorism Vandalism should never be accepted.people are hurt in the process. Who are these people??? Should the elections be postponed? Will February be safe? Why is there a March with world leaders and religious leaders in Paris and here NOTHING! Of what value is a human life in Nigeria? At this rate is there a future for our unborn kids in Nigeria? No light, Bad roads, Bad leaders, Killings everywhere, Corruption….. Father have mercy on us today

Yvonne Ekwere:
We are all of the HUMAN RACE… We all laugh, cry, eat, sh#t, breathe,… we have so much in common as human beings why kill your kind in the name of religion. what sense does that make??? what has come over the world? since when did it become ok to take the lives of innocent people? why should journalists be killed for expressing themselves? why are young school girls taken hostage just because they went to school? how is it normal to strap bombs to a 10 year old girl child to kill herself and others? what did she/they do to diserve this???? if the practice of “religion” requires one to murder others is it really RELIGIOUS? What about CONSCIENCE? and COMPASSION??? i’m shocked, tired, angry and confused. i am a CITIZEN of this WORLD, it is my right to practice whatever religion i choosei, live the way i want and not be worried about losing my life because of my choices… WTF are you to oppose that? You are NOT GOD and by the way, i hear from Him myself, you cant shove you radical sentiments down my throat. all i ask is that we JUST STAY IN PEACE. #RIPtoEveryLifeLost #LOVEisMyRELIGION#StayInPeace #peace #Nigeria #France #Unity#BringBackOurGirls #BringBackOurCountry#CharlieHebdo #BridgeTheGap #WeAreTheWorld#CitizenOfTheWorld #enoughisenough#worldpeace #Unity #WeAllShouldTryToGetAlong#ItsNotThatDifficult#WeDontHaveToLikeEachotherButLetsBeCivil#OnlyLightCanFightDarkness #MBOK #Vixen#VonneVixen #pray
