We never expected to know this much about Naya Rivera's hygiene habits. The 28-year-old Glee star, who celebrated her birthday on Monday, was a guest host on "The View" this morning where the songstress shared a rather, interesting theory about showering.
After moderator Nicolle Wallace defended the fact that she showers three times a day (pre- and post-show, plus once before bed), the Fox beauty chimed in with a headline-making hypothesis.
"I think that white people shower a lot more than ethnic," Rivera said as Wallace couldn't help but burst out into a fit of giggles. "I feel like showering more than once a day or every day is such a white people thing."
After her comments, Rosie O'Donnell proceeded to call upon a stunned African-American woman in the audience, who insisted she is a "frequent showerer" before Rivera defended her remarks.
"My mom is half black, half Puerto Rican. She showers every day, so I can say this. But I'm now married to a white man," she said, referring to husband Ryan Dorsey, whom she secretly wed in July 2014. "And he showers a lot, like two, three times a day. "I'm like, 'What are you doing?'" she added with a laugh, mocking her hubby's frequent habit.
During the silly debate, Rivera also revealed how often she showers and insisted that her cleanliness is spot-on. "So the study says, a dermatologist says you are only supposed to shower once or twice every three days, so I'm right on the mark," the newlywed star explained.
Rivera's theory wasn't the only surprising claim she shared during the show. She also opened up about her successful siblings, Mycal Rivera, who plays in the NFL, as well as Nickayla Rivera, who is a model.
"We have a model, a gorgeous model singer celebrity talented person and NFL player. Your parents sucked," O'Donnell quipped to which Rivera replied, "I think they had really good sex."
